Four sets of cards containing 28 cards with railway heads, drawing frames, & Speeders, all with two sets of card grinders (One set of card grinders and one set of Cards new in 1860- Governor for regulating the speed of the water wheel

THE SPINNING ROOM
Fourteen old spinning frames (pre-1860), four new spinning frames, all with machinery attached
Eleven reels
One large Iron screw hand press
One machine for twisting and beaming
One small machine for twisting and winding sewing thread

One set of wool cards with machinery attached.
One Beamer (new in 1860)

THE WEAVING ROOM
Forty looms with machinery attached, twenty of the looms were added in 1860
Two dressing machines
Machinery and work area for mechanic/machinist

THE BASEMENT
A large wooden cold press & vat used to make lard oil to lubricate the machinery during the war. Normally sperm oil was used, but this was impossible to get due to the BlockadeLard Oil tended to gum up machines faster.

THE BOILER HOUSE
Located 20 feet south of the factory, it contained one large boiler to supply steam heat to the factory.

THE COMPANY STORE
Located 1500 feet upstream at the entrance of the mill race & Dam. Safe and store fixtures valued for insurance at $100.00 when destroyed in 1864. It also contained the post office, and an apartment on the third floor.The wheel house contained a water wheel that topped out at 50,000 lbs.
