I am so excited to have tripped over your site !My Great gr. grandfather was in Coxs wildcats 2nd Battalion Geo.SS ! He was Prvt.John Jefferson traywick . Johns Oldest Brother William ( Bill) was also a member and was killed at Chickamauga.This unit was decimated at Chickamauga.I would appreciate any info . I have done research for 2 years now.

Great Site
I have a lot of ancestors that were Union and a few Confederates. Just happened on this looking for more info on them. Getting no where tho. My grandson is really into history and all sorts of wars. He’d like this site.
